Welcome to the homepage of Jacob Usinowicz. I am an ecologist interested in understanding the natural processes that shape current and future patterns of biodiversity. I use ecological theory and experiments to understand the current abundance and distribution of species, and forecast what will happen as environmental change reshuffles natural communities. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow with Mary O’Connor  at UBC’s Biodiversity Research Center, and formerly a member of the Levine Lab at ETH Z├╝rich (now at Princeton University).
