Scientific publications

I have contributed significantly to ecological research by communications in high-impact scientific journals including Nature, Ecology Letters, and Global Change Biology. I have reviewed for numerous journals, and helped to edit the work of peers and students that I have mentored.

See my publications, as well as Google Scholar.

Presentations

I have communicated results to both scientific and non-technical audiences. I have presented at renowned institutions like the University of British Columbia and conferences such as the Ecological Society of America. Additionally, I have presented at local stakeholder meetings in both the US and Switzerland.

Technical reports

For example, the Yahara WINS project phosphorous budget report.

Teaching materials

My teaching experience is extensive and I have accumulated a number of materials over the years of teaching both introductory and upper-level courses. At ETH Zürich, I co-instructed courses on plant population dynamics, employing R-based tools (and also here) to engage students in quantitative methods. Furthermore, my mentoring extends to guiding graduate students in understanding complex ecological concepts and assisting them with their own projects related to their theses.
